BECAUSE Misamis Oriental doesn’t have any urban city (Cagayan de Oro City is not part of Misamis Oriental), there are definitely lots of inns for the weary travelers. Most of these inns are located in the town of Balingoan. Balingoan is the gateway to the resort island of Camiguin. Camiguin has been tested time and again to be a haven for foreigners especially during summer. Since there are only a few boat trips in Camiguin in a day, most of the tourists hang around Balingoan and its inns there.
